Grooved feed sleeve are widely used in raffia, monofilament, blown film, HDPE pipe plant etc., for higher production and batter quality.
The barrier screw design separates melted material from unmelted solid material into separate channels. This unique mixing feature thoroughly homogenizes the melt with little or no increase in its average temperature. Mixing is achieved with an undulating root profile in the metering zone of the screw.
